BHC Summer Scheme at Havelock Park & Ulster Hockey Camps
Banbridge Hockey Club will be running another hockey summer programme this August. It will take place at Havelock Park from 3rd – 6th August 2015, between 9.30am & 3.00pm each day. Both club and non club members are welcome!
The camp aims to help all enthusiastic hockey players to have fun playing, whilst learning new skills in a safe and game focussed environment. Coaches will include guest appearances from the Club’s Irish Internationals and all coaches are fully qualified with CRB checks.
Prizes and awards are up for grabs!
There will be two groups a Junior group for Primary 4 – 6 children and a Youth group for Primary 7 to Year 10 children.
The course will cost £45 (£40 for a second child). Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and players are asked to bring a packed lunch.

ULSTER HOCKEY SUMMER CAMPS
In addition to the Club’s Summer Scheme, Ulster Hockey will also be running summer camps throughout the summer. This year Ulster Hockey will be running a record fourteen camps which will take place in various venues across the country and cater for all our upcoming hockey stars.
High-level qualified coaches, including some current international players, will be on hand to pass on their knowledge to the campers and even share their experiences of playing hockey all across the world. Camp coaches will include Ulster Hockey’s Talent Coach – Shirley McCay, Senior Internationals Megan Frazer, Michael Robson, Katie Mullan, Chloe Brown, Ayeisha McFerran and Eugene Magee.
We have three Camp Categories that players can sign up to.
Camp Category 1: Participation Camp / 7-15 year olds
Locations: Stormont – Belfast, Carrickfergus Ampitheatre, Castlederg High School, Limavady Grammar School, Newry Hockey Club and Portadown – Edenvilla.
Camp Category 2: Talent Camp / 15-17 year olds
Locations: Limavady Grammar, Regent House, Wallace High, Roughfort, UUJ.
Camp Category 3: Goalkeeper Specific Camp / 12-16 year olds
Locations: Shawsbridge – Belfast and Magherafelt High School.

The cost of the camps will be £45 for a place on any of the Category 1 Camps (7-15 year olds), £20 per day for the Category 2 Camps (15-17 year olds) and £35 for the Category 3 Camps (Goalkeeper).
