BANN PLAYERS NAMED IN IRISH U21 SQUAD

Congratulations to Matthew Bell who has been selected as Vice Captain of the Irish Under 21 team for this weeks Four Nations Tournament being held at Mossley Hockey Club from Tuesday 11th until Thursday 13th February. He is joined in the squad by fellow Bann member Jonny McKee for matches against Scotland, England and Junior World Champions, Germany. Also selected are former Banbridge players Peter Brown and Ben Cosgrove. Unfortunately Owen Magee and Josh Moffett were ruled out due to injury. 

Ireland U21 Coach Jonny Caren selected his squad after three days of the U21 Interprovincial tournament
which took place at Three Rock Rovers. Matthew Bell Captained the Ulster 21 squad and along with Jonny McKee, and Owen Magee helped Ulster to reclaim the title from Leinster winning all three of the games.

Banbridge players Timmy Watt and Aaron Reid also competed in tournament as members of the Irish Under 18 squad.
