Banbridge Hockey Club are delighted to announce two new sponsorship deals with local companies AB&C Insurance and David Prentice Motors. AB&C Insurance will sponsor the Ladies 1st XI team while David Prentice Motors have provided a general sponsorship which includes supporting the ‘Player of the Month’ awards.

Welcoming the sponsorship deals, Banbridge Hockey Club President Neil Madeley stated:  “We are delighted that AB&C Insurance and David Prentice Motors have both signed up to sponsorship deals with BHC.  AB&C Insurance have agreed to act as our main shirt sponsor for our Ladies 1st XI for the next two seasons while David Prentice Motors have provided a generous general sponsorship package for the club.  We see our association with both brands as a perfect fit for all concerned with both companies offering top end brands at competitive prices.  This support is very much welcomed and will help us to maintain our position as one of the top clubs on the island of Ireland.  We rely on the support of our sponsors to help ensure we are providing the best facilities, coaching and equipment for our members and we are pleased that these local companies are backing us.”

Colin Atkinson from AB&C Insurance stated:  “We welcome the opportunity to support the Ladies 1st XI at Banbridge Hockey Club.  While we have previously been involved with the club, we are now pleased to be able to continue our association by supporting the BHC Ladies 1st XI and acting as their main shirt sponsor.  The Ladies 1st XI have had great success in the past few seasons and are now playing in the top flight of Ulster Hockey, we hope they can continue this success and we wish them well in the rest of their games this season.”

Commenting on their sponsorship of BHC, Judi McClelland of David Prentice Portadown added;  “This is the first time we have been involved with Banbridge Hockey Club. We are delighted to be able to provide sponsorship to the club.  BHC has proven to be an extremely successful club over its history and it is great to be associated with this success.  We wish the club well in the various leagues and competitions it is involved in.  We are a local family run business with several members of our Team from Banbridge so when the opportunity to become involved with the club arose it seemed an obvious choice for us to get involved.”

Both sponsorship deals were formally announced at a recent reception held at the club and both AB&C Insurance and David Prentice Motors will continue as sponsors for two years.
