FEES NOW DUE!

The 2013/14 season has started at Banbridge Hockey Club and this means that membership subscriptions are now due. Membership Forms and information have been emailed to all those on our current e-mail database.  If you haven’t received these, please download the form and letter from here.  Membership forms with payment should be returned to Sheree Totton or Colin Dowds or your Team Captain as soon as possible but no later than 31 October 2013. Details on how to pay are listed below.

Please remember that this is your club and that any club is only as good as its members. We are indebted to our volunteers who help with coaching, umpiring, catering, fundraising, who work on committees and contribute in many ways to make sure BHC operates smoothly. Please get involved and help your club become more successful and more prosperous in the season ahead.

The Executive Committee works hard to minimise membership fees and obtain external funding to ensure that we continue to provide the best possible facilities, kit, coaching and support for our members. However, we do need to raise additional funds to maintain these high standards and would ask that all our members participate in as many of the planned events and fundraising activities as possible. Failure to meet our fundraising targets may result in higher membership fees for everyone so please support your Club.

Fundraising is crucial to ensure the provision and associated maintenance of our superb facilities on and off the pitch. I’m sure you will agree that all income is hard earned and this is channelled towards our ongoing running costs such as the maintenance of the pitch, maintenance of floodlights, hire of changing facilities at Havelock Park, and maintenance and refurbishment, where applicable, of our clubhouse facilities. In addition, fundraising is used to ensure that we fulfil our playing and coaching responsibilities with insurances, equipment purchase, hire of minibuses, when required, and our ongoing commitments to our coaching teams these all having to be funded on an on-going basis.

Members are reminded of the BHC Rules, club policies and the Irish Hockey Association Code of Ethics which are alsoavailable in the downloads sections of our club website. All members should make themselves aware of the content of these and adhere to them at all times.

If you have any queries on any aspect of the club, please get in contact with a member of the Executive Committee or email us on info@banbridgehockeyclub.com.
