Brown & Carlisle in Irish Senior Squad

Irish Coach Paul Revington has named 17 of his 18 man squad for the upcoming three match series against Spain in Santander from 12/15 June. The final player will be named following this weekends training session in Dublin.  Club players Phillip Brown and Drew Carlisle are named, with Carlisle hoping to win his first cap.  If Carlisle wins his first cap he will become the fifth current player from Banbridge to become a full international.  The duo find themselves joined in the squad by Eugene Magee, who is closing in on the 150 cap mark.

Revington added Playing against Spain is always an exciting prospect and we are delighted to have these fixtures in our calendar. These opportunities will come thick and fast for players in this short transition phase and it will also be exciting to see what new reinforcements and strengths are added to the Squad in this period.
